APP PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 19, 2026
This policy is for the Tap Tock iOS app and this website (https://taptock.xyz). Tap Tock is provided by Matthew Medici (“we”, “us”).
What Tap Tock is
Tap Tock is a one-tap timing game. You do not create an account. There are no ads in the app. Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple.
Data collected from the app
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, or browsing history in the app.
The following data may be collected and linked to your identity:
- Purchases / Purchase History. Records of in-app purchases and subscriptions (for example coins, Starter Pack, unlimited tries, Tick Pass Weekly, Forever Clock), including transaction identifiers and entitlement status.
That purchase history is tied to a player identifier created in the app and to your Apple ID purchase record. We do not ask for your real name. Apple still knows the Apple ID that paid. Our purchase partner can connect the player identifier to those purchases. Apple treats that as data linked to your identity.
How purchase history is used
- App Functionality. To unlock what you bought, restore purchases, apply Tap Tock Pro, grant coins, and prevent duplicate grants or failed restores.
- Analytics. To understand whether products work, how many people subscribe or restore, and to fix purchase problems. This is product analytics, not advertising analytics.
Purchase history is not used for third-party advertising, developer advertising, or marketing emails. Tap Tock does not show ads.
Third parties
- Apple. Processes App Store payments, subscriptions, restore, and refunds under Apple’s privacy policy.
- RevenueCat. Helps us manage receipts, entitlements, restore, and purchase analytics. RevenueCat receives purchase history and the app user identifier. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share purchase history with ad networks.
This website
taptock.xyz is a static landing page. It does not use advertising cookies, does not run an ad pixel, and does not require an account. Your browser may send a normal IP address to our host (Vercel) to deliver the page. Server logs, if any, are used only to operate and secure the site.
Children
Tap Tock is a casual game suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect a child’s name, email, or other contact information. In-app purchases on iOS are handled by Apple and may require the device’s purchase authentication (such as Face ID, passcode, or Ask to Buy).
Retention
Game progress is stored on your device. Purchase records are kept as long as needed to provide restores, subscriptions, refunds, accounting, and fraud prevention, and then as required by law.
Your privacy choices
This is the User Privacy Choices page for Tap Tock (https://taptock.xyz/privacy#choices).
- No ads / no tracking for ads. There is nothing to opt out of for advertising, because we do not use your data to show or measure ads.
- Subscriptions. Manage or cancel Tick Pass Weekly in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Restore. Open Tap Tock → Shop → Restore.
- Delete purchase records we hold. Email support@taptock.xyz from a reachable address, ask us to delete your Tap Tock purchase data, and include the approximate date of purchase if you can. We will delete our RevenueCat customer record where we are able. Apple keeps its own App Store purchase history; we cannot erase Apple’s copy.
- Device data. Delete the app to remove local progress on that device.
